The Historic Park Theatre & Event Center will present Canadian folk trio The Wailin’ Jennys on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 7 p.m.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug. 1, at 10 a.m. at www.theparkri.com or by calling 1-800-657-8774.
The Wailin’ Jennys features Nicky Mehta, Ruth Moody and Heather Masse, three vocalists known for their harmonious folk sound. The group began as an impromptu collaboration between solo singer-songwriters at a guitar shop in Winnipeg, Manitoba, but has since grown into an internationally recognized folk act.
Founding members Moody and Mehta continue to perform with New York-based Masse, creating what the group calls “some of the most exciting music on the folk-roots scene.”
The concert is presented by Spectacle Live, a company founded in 2012 that offers venue operations, booking and production services across New England. The company operates from offices in Lexington, Mass., Lowell, Mass., and Laconia, N.H., and partners with more than a dozen venues throughout the region.
