Eugene J. Sullivan, age 81, of Lake Worth, Florida passed away on June 9, 2025. Joe was born in Newport, Rhode Island on November 25, 1943. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force.
Joe was predeceased by his wife, Ruth in 2015 and his son, Joseph in 2016.
He is survived by his children, Kim Mathews, Christine Sullivan and Jeff Sullivan; grandchildren, Michaela Mathews, Gavin Mathews, Meghin Sullivan and Jeff Sullivan, Jr.; great granddaughter, Paisley Sullivan; sister, Connie Maricle.
Joe will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, other family members and countless friends who will miss him dearly.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, July 7, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church, corner of Spring Street & Memorial Blvd, Newport, RI. Burial will be private.
