Newport Mental Health’s 100 Women group is gearing up for a unique fundraiser called “Mah Jongg for Mental Health.” This event aims to support affordable and accessible mental health services in Newport County.
Mark your calendars for July 23, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will be held at the Restoration Hall at IYRS in Newport.
Attendees can look forward to Mah Jongg games, cocktails, and appetizers. Space is limited to 25 tables, with room for 100 players total.
“Behavioral health care is essential for building a resilient community,” says Karen Cadwalader, Board Member and co-chair of the 100 Women group. “By supporting Newport Mental Health, we are highlighting the critical role mental health plays in our overall quality of life.”
Want to join in? Early bird tickets are $175 per player until June 15. After that, the price goes up to $200. Your ticket covers refreshments and a spot in the Mah Jongg games.
