Impact 100 Newport County

A new Impact100 chapter in Newport County is offering local non-profits a shot at a $100,000 grant.

The group aims to bring together at least 100 women, with each member contributing $1,000 to fund substantial grants for chosen organizations.

Impact100 Newport County is entirely volunteer-run, ensuring all membership donations go directly back into the local community.

The chapter kicks off its first membership drive on June 9 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Jane Pickens Theater in Newport. Anyone interested in learning more about the organization is welcome to attend.

Wendy Steele, who created the Impact100 model, is visiting Newport on May 29 to support the launch of this new chapter.

Members can get involved by joining the board, working on committees, or taking part in social events.
