A Prescribed Burn is planned for Prudence Island on April 10, 2025 (via Town of Portsmouth)

The Town of Portsmouth alerted the public this morning that a prescribed burn is planned for today on Prudence Island.

“Prudence Island Prescribed Burn Planned for Thursday, April 10, 2025. Access to the South End of the Reserve on Prudence Island may be limited or prohibited before, during, or following the prescribed burn”.
