Portsmouth High School honored Patricia “Pat” Carrellas with a pink out lacrosse game against Prout on Friday (April 25). Carrellas, who recently lost her battle with breast cancer, is the mother of senior captain Margaux Boneu and two other children.

The event included a 50/50 raffle, bake sale, and gift baskets. All proceeds go to Dana-Farber in memory of Carrellas.

Margaux Boneu, wearing jersey number 8, received the Patricia Grace Carrellas Scholarship at the game’s end, presented by her family.

The match was a close contest, with both teams trading goals throughout. Prout edged out a narrow 9-8 win over Portsmouth.

Boneu led Portsmouth’s scoring with four goals, while teammate Stella Orr added two goals in the loss.
