Aquidneck Community Table (ACT) is shaking things up for its 2025 summer farmers’ market season. The Saturday market is moving to a new home at the Newport County YMCA in Middletown, starting May 3.

ACT has teamed up with the Newport County YMCA and 11th Hour Racing to host the Middletown market in the field next to the YMCA’s main building at 792 Valley Road. Shoppers can stop by every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon through Oct. 25.

For those who prefer midweek shopping, the Wednesday market is sticking to its usual spot on Memorial Boulevard in Newport. It kicks off May 28 and runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. until Oct. 29.

Both markets are packed with local food and drink vendors, including farms, bakeries, and specialty producers. Saturday shoppers can look forward to vendors like Beautiful Day, Chill’s Cheesecakes, and Newport Wine Cellars. On Wednesdays, you’ll find Aquidneck Farms, Barden Family Orchard, and Triton Seafood, among others.

The markets also make room for community groups, with the Boys & Girls Club SNAP Outreach and Salve Regina University Hydroponics Club joining the mix.
