The Portsmouth Boys Hockey team is advancing to the semifinals after shutting out Nariho 3-0 in Monday’s quarterfinal match.

Portsmouth, seeded second in the tournament, pulled ahead with two goals in the second period against the Nariho Gulls. The Gulls represent a combined team of players from Narragansett and Chariho high schools.

Rafe Dionne, Finn O’Connor, and Chase Pascoe each scored for Portsmouth, securing the team’s win and semifinal berth.
