22 Bowen’s Wine Bar & Grille will host a special four-course wine dinner on Thursday, March 27, featuring wines from Staglin Family Vineyard and Continuum.
Update – On March 24, we were notified by a spokesperson for Newport Restaurant Group that this event has been canceled.
The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and will pair a carefully selected menu with some of the best wines from these well-known Napa Valley vineyards.
Tickets are $340 per person, which includes tax and tip. There’s limited seating, so if you’re interested, call 401-841-8884 to reserve your spot.
The menu kicks off with Hamachi Toro paired with Staglin Estate Chardonnay, known for its zesty lemon and orange blossom notes. Next up is Lobster & Peas served with Staglin ‘Salus’ Chardonnay, which has flavors of quince, grilled peach, lemon verbena, and a hint of brioche.
The third course features Foie & Cherries alongside Staglin ‘Salus’ Cabernet Sauvignon, with aromas of black currant, spiced mocha, and lavender. The final course is a Rib Cap served with two wines: Staglin Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and Continuum Estate Proprietary Blend.
Staglin Family Vineyard, located in the heart of Napa Valley, has a rich 130-year history in winemaking. Their 61-acre vineyard in Rutherford is organically farmed and has been in the family for over four decades.
The Staglin family isn’t just about making great wine – they’re also committed to making a positive impact on the world. As they put it, they’re trying to “make a difference in the world, one bottle at a time.”
