Rogers High School wants to keep a special tradition going for the class of 2025. They’re looking to put up senior banners along Broadway from May to September, just like they’ve done since 2020.
A group of parents is leading the charge to raise money for this project, which isn’t funded by the school or city. Each banner costs about $50, covering everything from the photo to putting it up.
“We’re counting on families to chip in for this project,” the parent committee says in their letter. “It’s all privately funded.”
These banners show off the seniors’ graduation photos and are given to families after they come down in September.
Want to help out? The committee has set up a GoFundMe page. They’ve suggested a few ways to donate:
- $50 covers one senior’s banner
- $100 pays for your senior’s banner plus another student’s
- $200 helps four seniors get their banners
Seniors, keep an eye out for news about graduation photos coming up in April.
Rogers High School is also spreading the word on Facebook, asking for support to “keep the tradition going for the Class of 2025.” They appreciate any amount you can give.
