Portsmouth’s Boys Hockey team put on a show at Portsmouth Abbey, handily defeating Rogers, Middletown, Tiverton (RMT) 6-1 on Saturday, January 4.

The home team dominated from start to finish, with Ben West leading the charge by netting two goals. Connor Rogers #7, Luke Brule #24, Chase Pascoe #20, and Shane Temple #15 each chipped in with a goal apiece, rounding out Portsmouth’s impressive offensive display.

RMT managed to get on the scoreboard thanks to Evan Agren #14, but it wasn’t nearly enough to challenge Portsmouth’s commanding lead. The home team’s defense proved too tough for RMT to crack, limiting their scoring opportunities throughout the game.

Portsmouth’s well-rounded performance, with multiple players finding the back of the net, showcases the team’s depth and offensive firepower. This decisive victory cements Portsmouth’s strong position in the league and sets a high bar for their upcoming matches.
