UBS announced that two financial advisors in the firm’s Newport, Rhode Island office were named to Forbes’ Best-In-State advisor lists for 2024. Private Wealth Advisor Jamie Hilton has been named to the 2024 Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list. Additionally, Financial Advisor Kara Museler has been named to the Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-In-State list for 2024.

Jamie Hilton ranks fourth out of 31 advisors in Rhode Island on this year’s Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list. A resident of Tiverton, Jamie is the founder of The Hilton Group, a wealth management team at UBS. Before joining the firm in 2013, he spent over two decades as an investment advisor at Morgan Stanley and worked on the floor of the Commodities Exchange of New York. In 2021, Jamie earned the Certified Exit Planning Advisor® designation from the Exit Planning Institute.
Jamie is active in many local community organizations and is a founding member of the University of Rhode Island Sailing Advisory Council in Kingston, R.I. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island (Kingston, R.I.) in 1983 with a major in economics.

Kara Museler is one of 11 advisors in Rhode Island to be named to the 2024 Forbes Top Women Advisors Best-In-State list. A Jamestown resident, Kara has worked with high-net-worth families and individuals for over 20 years. As a Financial Advisor with The Hilton Group, she brings a client-centric approach to truly understand her client’s deepest values and goals, forming customized advice and solutions that address each client’s unique needs. Kara holds the Certified Financial Planner® and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® designations.
Before joining UBS, Kara was a producing branch manager at Morgan Stanley for 17 years. She graduated from the College of Charleston in South Carolina, where she was a four-time U.S. Collegiate All-American and Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee. Kara is one of only two women in the college’s sailing program to be named an All-American in all four years.
