Get ready for a chilly start to 2025! Middletown Little League and Middletown High School PTG (parent-teacher group) are hosting their second annual Islander Plunge on January 1 at Second Beach.
The event kicks off at noon near the beach’s concession stand.
This icy dip isn’t just for thrills but for a good cause. The plunge raises money for the Patrick T. Crowley Memorial Scholarship.
Want to join in? Registration is $20 per person. The first 500 people to sign up get a cool Islander Plunge koozie and car sticker. To register, just fill out a Google form and send your payment through Venmo to Middletown Little League (@MiddletownLL).
If you’re looking for more Islander Plunge gear or Middletown swag, don’t worry – there’ll be plenty available to buy at the event.
