Aurelia at Castle Hill in Newport has earned the coveted AAA Five Diamond designation, placing it among the top restaurants known for exceptional dining.

The AAA Diamond Program added Aurelia to its Five Diamond list on December 30, 2024. It’s one of just eight new restaurants to receive this honor this year.

Having opened in January 2024, Aurelia offers a six-course prix fixe menu featuring modern New England cuisine. The restaurant boasts stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and Narragansett Bay.

“AAA Diamond Inspectors work tirelessly throughout the year to verify the 4 Cs of AAA Diamonds: Cleanliness, Comfort, Cuisine, and Consistency,” said Stacey Barber, Vice President of AAA Travel. “Their unannounced and objective inspections give AAA Members – and all travelers – peace of mind as they plan their dream vacations and memorable moments. We congratulate our newest Five and Four Diamond properties and welcome them into the AAA Diamond family!”
