Portsmouth High School’s varsity football team dominated Middletown High School 28-0 in the annual Thanksgiving Day game at Portsmouth’s home field.

The game marks a special moment as longtime announcer Bobb Angel of 1540 AM WADK called his final football game from the booth, wrapping up an impressive 50+ year career behind the microphone.

This matchup has become a fixture on the local sports calendar, drawing fans year after year.
