The Middletown Police Department is starting its yearly Holiday Toy Drive to brighten the season for local families in need.
From November 18 to December 20, 2024, the department is accepting new unwrapped gifts, gift cards, and cash donations. These contributions will help provide presents for eligible Middletown families.
Community Policing Lieutenant David Bissonnette explains, “We’re teaming up with Middletown School District, local housing groups, and DCYF to find families who could use some extra holiday cheer.”
Want to donate? Drop off your items at the Middletown Police Department, 123 Valley Road. Look for the donation bin inside.
School Resource Officers Kevin Ferris and Sean Twomey are also helping out with the drive.

The Middletown Police Department is proud to announce the start of its
annual Holiday Toy Drive which will run from November 18, 2024 until December 20, 2024. The department is seeking new unwrapped gifts, gift cards or monetary donations; which will be used to purchase additional gifts to ensure that less fortunate families from our Town have a happy and joyous holiday season. The Department will be working in conjunction with the Middletown School District, local housing organizations and DCYF to locate eligible families to receive these generous gifts.If you would like to donate, there will be a donation bin at the Middletown Police Department located at 123 Valley Road.
