RIPTA will provide free service to veterans at WaterFire – A Salute to Veterans on November 2, 2024.

On both dates, veterans must show a veteran’s ID card or a driver’s license marked “V” to ride free.

RIPTA will run on its Sunday/Holiday schedule on Veterans Day.

Flex Route 203 (URI/Narragansett/South Kingstown) will operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Veterans Day. The Flex Service reservation line will not be staffed on the holiday, but passengers can schedule Flex Route 203 reservations using the Flex On Demand mobile app.
