The Rhode Island State House will transform into a spooky haven for trick-or-treaters on Tuesday, October 29, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The annual Spooky State House event, hosted by the RI Department of State, welcomes families of all ages to enjoy Halloween fun and collect treats.
Attendees can expect spooky decorations and treats from the offices of Secretary of State Gregg M. Amore, Governor Dan McKee, Lieutenant Governor Sabina Matos, Attorney General Peter F. Neronha, General Treasurer James A. Diossa, the Rhode Island Senate, and the Rhode Island House of Representatives.
Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes for this free, family-friendly event. In addition, attendees are welcome to bring non-perishable food items for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.
The event will take place at the Rhode Island State House, located at 82 Smith Street, Providence. While RSVPs are not required, more information can be found on the event’s Facebook page.
