Newport Sings is offering a free five-week after-school chorus program for students in grades 1-6. The program, titled “Be the Light!”, will culminate in a performance at the Newport Sings Winter Concert on Sunday, December 15th at 4:00 pm at Calvary United Methodist Church.

The program is divided into two groups: Prep Chorus for students in grades 1-3 and Pre-teen Chorus for students in grades 4-6. Classes meet on Thursdays at Calvary United Methodist Church in Middletown, beginning on November 14th. A fun morning retreat is also scheduled for Saturday, November 23rd.

Newport Sings emphasizes community and joy through singing. The “Be the Light!” program will feature music from around the world and popular pop songs, aiming to offer a温暖ing light as winter approaches.
