The Historic Park Theatre in Cranston, RI is gearing up to celebrate its 100th anniversary with a star-studded lineup of concerts. The venue, now under the management of Spectacle Live, will kick off the centennial season with performances by Dionne Warwick, The Moody Blues’ John Lodge, and Lonestar from November 14th-17th.

The Moody Blues’ John Lodge will take the stage on Thursday, November 14th, followed by country music favorite Lonestar on Saturday, November 16th. The celebration will culminate on Sunday, November 17th, with a performance by legendary pop singer Dionne Warwick, marking the exact date of the theatre’s opening a century ago.

Venue Manager Sara Shevlin, a Rhode Island native, expressed pride in participating in such a historic day. “Our hardworking team has been giving their all to make every event held at The Park Theatre very special to all attendees and the 100-year celebrations won’t be any different.”

Spectacle Live President Pete Lally expressed his enthusiasm for the milestone, stating, “The Spectacle Live team and I are very excited to celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Park Theatre. It’s an honor to be a part of the next chapter of this amazing theatre and we are looking forward to great things to come in the years ahead.”

The Historic Park Theatre has been renovated and now serves as a fully equipped multipurpose performing arts center, with a seating capacity of approximately 1000. Upgrades include new sound and lighting systems, a freshly painted stage, and a rebranding refresh. The venue has also expanded to offer event and breakout spaces for private rentals, along with the 848 Lounge, open before and after shows.

The centennial season will feature a diverse lineup of programming, including concerts, theatre, comedy shows, and more. Notable acts scheduled for the upcoming months include Chazz Palminteri- A Bronx Tale Live (November 23rd and March 30th), Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes (December 7th), Judy Collins- Holidays and Hits (December 13th), The Tenors (December 21st), and Irish Christmas in America (December 22nd).
