The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center is gearing up for its Annual Meeting and Keeper of the Dream awards on Nov. 18. The event will spotlight individuals and organizations that have gone above and beyond in supporting the center’s mission.

The gathering, which will take place from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the MLK Community Center, will celebrate those who channel Dr. King’s ideals through their dedication and service.

Dwight and Susan Sipprelle will receive this year’s Keeper of the Dream award, while Herkworks Architecture will be named a Keeper of the Dream Community Partner.

Sarah Maher and Colleen Welsh are set to receive the Content of Character Awards.

The center will also reflect on its achievements and hurdles from the past year and give a nod to staff members who have been with it for five years or more.

While the event is free, you must register to attend. Behan Bros. is sponsoring the event.
