Tech help, watercolor group, online learning, craft circle, and book walk & talk
The Tiverton Public Library has announced a comprehensive list of programs for adults in September, with a focus on technology, education, and the arts.
One-on-one tech help is available to everyone regardless of skill level. Tech help is available by calling 401-625-6796 ext. 8 or by visiting the library’s website.
Tuesdays, 12:30-2:30pm, weekly watercolor group. The program is open to all ages and skill levels. Participants will be able to come and work on their own watercolor painting projects while also socializing with fellow enthusiasts. All materials and supplies are required.
Tuesday, September 3rd, 3:00-3:30pm, introduction to online learning platform Udemy. The platform features over 20,000 classes in a variety of subjects, including cybersecurity, ChatGPT, CompTIA, cloud computing, and personal development. Space is limited; registration is required. Wednesday, September 4th, 5:00-8:00pm, craft circle. The event is open to all ages and skill levels. Participants will be able to meet with fellow crafters, get project ideas, and share tips and advice. All materials and supplies are required.

Participants will be able to enjoy a leisurely walk around the path while chatting about what they’ve been reading and watching lately. The program is weather-dependent. Computer Parts Show & Tell
Ever wonder why computers are so expensive? It has a lot to do with the inside of the machine! In this presentation, attendees can watch as we dismantle a desktop computer tower. We will identify the major parts of the computer, including the hard drive, RAM, CPU, optical drive, and motherboard. You do not have to have any computer experience or knowledge to attend.
