The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will run a Sunday/holiday service schedule on Monday, August 12, in observance of Victory Day. This schedule will include all regular fixed-route buses and trolleys. All RIPTA offices will be closed on Monday, August 12, with the exception of the Customer Service Kiosk at the Newport Transportation Center.

The organization will also adjust its Flex Service offerings for the holiday. Flex Service will not be available on Monday, August 12, with the exception of Route 203 which will run on a Sunday schedule without timepoint stops from 10 am to 5 pm. The Flex Service reservation line will also not be staffed on Monday, August 12. Passengers are urged to schedule a ride on the holiday by calling the RIDE reservation line (401-461-9760) before August 12, although reservations can still be made by calling the RIDE reservation line at 401-781-9400 on the day of the holiday. The RIDE reservation line will not be staffed on Monday, August 12; passengers can leave a detailed voicemail message to reserve trips for the next day.
