Jesse Cook, a renowned Nuevo Flamenco guitarist, is set to perform at The JPT Film & Event Center in Newport on Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. Tickets for the event, presented by Spectacle Live, go on sale Aug. 9 at 10 a.m.
Cook’s upcoming performance showcases his 25-year career as a guitarist, composer, producer, arranger, performer, and more recently, filmmaker and content creator. His impressive resume includes 10 platinum and gold studio albums with combined sales exceeding 2 million copies and 700 million online streams.
The artist’s accolades extend beyond album sales. Cook has produced five concert DVDs and live discs, five PBS specials, and a library of over 300 YouTube videos. His talent has been recognized with numerous awards, including a JUNO Award win and 11 nominations, three Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards, a Gemini Award, and an Acoustic Guitar Magazine Player’s Choice Silver Award.
