Music fans rejoice! The first trailer from the upcoming Bob Dylan biopic “A Complete Unknown” dropped earlier today.

The two-minute trailer features official footage of Timothée Chalamet, who plays the iconic singer-songwriter, on the Dylan classic “A Hard Rain’s a-Gonna Fall,” with accompanying clips of iconic New York City clubs and concert venues.

The trailer offers a peek at the film which covers Dylan’s early career, when he changed the direction of modern music. Directed by James Mangold, it is reported to cover Dylan’s time in New York City’s Greenwich Village through his 1965 Newport Folk Festival performance in Newport. In addition to Chalamet, the film stars Edward Norton, Elle Fanning, and Monica Barbaro, who plays Joan Baez.

Of course, Bob Dylan and Newport, RI are forever entwined. The singer, who is famously known for “going electric” at Newport in July 1965, last appeared at Fort Adams State Park in 2004. He still tours endlessly, playing a career-spanning set at the Outlaw Festival at the Xfinity Center earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Joan Baez, who brought Dylan to Newport in 1963, is returning to the festival this weekend. Baez will be reading excerpts from her new book of poems When You See My Mother, Ask Her To Dance on the Bike Stage Saturday at 3:45. She’ll also be live in conversation at the Jane Pickens Film and Events Center Monday July 29. Tickets are still available here.
