Join Beau Tyler and the Sly Dog Co. for a heartwarming film and a fun night supporting the Potter League for Animals!

The Potter League for Animals is excited to announce a special event at The JPT Film + Event Center. On June 1st, 2024, the Potter League for Animals invites the public to an unforgettable evening featuring a screening of the film Arthur the King.

This event is generously funded by Beau Tyler & The Sly Dog Co., a pet lovers brand with a flagship store on Thames St. in Newport. Additionally, the JPT’s associated non-profit, Friends Of The Jane Pickens, graciously covers ticketing costs. The evening promises to be a thrilling adventure for both film enthusiasts and animal lovers.

Celebrate the bond between humans and animals and contribute to a worthy cause! Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Potter League for Animals, supporting our mission to care for and find loving homes for needy animals.

About the Film:

“Arthur the King” tells the inspiring story of Michael Light (played by Mark Wahlberg), who, in a last-ditch effort to secure victory, convinces a sponsor to back his team of athletes for the Adventure Racing World Championship in the Dominican Republic. Throughout the grueling race, the team forms an unbreakable bond with Arthur, a scrappy street dog who joins their journey. The film, starring Mark Wahlberg, Simu Liu, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Ali Suliman, highlights themes of resilience, loyalty, and the true meaning of friendship. It is based on a true story that showcases the extraordinary connection between humans and animals.

Ticket Information: General admission and a limited number of VIP tickets are available. VIP tickets include a special gift bag with great items for both humans and pets.
