As part of the first Middletown Earth Day Art Contest, several students from different local schools displayed artwork that revolved around protecting the environment. The pieces were created by students from Middletown Public Library and will be displayed in the library’s meeting room from May 13 through May 25.

The pieces were created to express their appreciation for Middletown. They were inspired by themes such as protecting endangered species, keeping water and land trash-free, and protecting the natural habitat of pollinators and birds.

Residents are encouraged to view the artwork and appreciate the students’ artistic perspective on keeping Middletown a beautiful place to live, work, and play.
