Jamestown Newport Ferry kicks off its Hop-On Hop-Off season just in time for the Oyster & Chowder Festival held at Bowen’s Wharf on May 18–19, 2024.

Jamestown Newport Ferry’s daily unreserved Hop-On Hop-Off service between Jamestown and Newport will run from May 18 through October 14, 2024. The five ferry stops include Jamestown, Rose Island Lighthouse, Newport’s Fort Adams, Ann Street Pier, and Perrotti Park. Ticket options include the round-trip All-Day Pass and one-way fares. Jamestown Newport Ferry offers a reduced-rate evening special daily after 4 pm (except during festivals).

Throughout the summer, Jamestown Newport Ferry will offer express service to special Newport events such as the Folk and Jazz Festivals, the International Boat Show, and the Bowen’s Wharf Seafood Festival. Please note that during some of these events, the Jamestown Newport Ferry will have an altered Hop-On Hop-Off schedule, as shown on the schedule page of the website.

New for 2024 is the Explore & Save program, which has over thirty partners so far and is still growing! Ferry riders can show their same-day ferry ticket at select shops, restaurants, and experiences to turn their ferry ticket into SAVINGS at Stop 1 in Jamestown, Stop 4 at Ann Street Pier, and Stop 5 at Perrotti Park! Explore & Save partners offer exclusive discounts and perks when ferry riders visit their shop and present the ferry ticket to them when ordering or making a purchase. One other notable item is the Day on the Bay Package sponsored by Coastal Queen Cruises (another division of CruiseRI.com) where ferry riders have the option of purchasing a same-day ticket for a narrated tour of the Newport Harbor area onboard the Coastal Queen for a discounted rate.
