Greenvale Vineyards will host their 26th Annual Restoration Celebration from 1 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, May 11.

Scheduled within Historic Preservation Month, Greenvale started the event to celebrate the revitalization of the 1863 stable in 1999.  “The stable turned Tasting Room is an exemplary example of adaptive reuse,” stated co-owner Nancy Parker Wilson, owner and 5th generation family member at Greenvale.

Festivities will include tractor rides, live music by the Tim Ray Trio, Boston, and the Maine Cousins Lobster Food Truck. Other participants include the Sakonnet River Company, which will offer handmade wine and cheese trays, Mad Good Cookies, and Dorothy Cox Chocolate.

Greenvale has recently executed a second restoration with the addition of a beautiful new roof plus heat and insulation.

The event is free and fun for all ages. Wine tastings and wine flights are charged. For further information, call (401)847-3777, email information@greenvale.com, or visit www.greenvale.com.
