Rhode Island has witnessed a significant uptick in property prices across all categories, underlining the enduring appeal of this coastal haven and the significant amount of equity that homeowners have seen in the aftermath of the pandemic.  These variables paired with higher interest rates over the last 2 years, have proven challenging for entry level buyers or those looking to make a lifestyle change, and most homeowners who have purchased in the last 5 years are finding it hard to justify a move based on their current mortgage payment.
