The Arts and Cultural Alliance of Newport County’s next networking event, Arts Around the Fire, will be held on Wednesday, April 17, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Stoneacre Brasserie, 28 Washington Square, in Newport.

This free event is open to the public and requires no reservations.

The Alliance’s guests will be Danielle Ogden and Emeline McKeown, both from the Newport Art Museum (“NAM”). Ogden is the museum’s Executive Director, and McKeown is its Director of Advancement.

They will speak about the NAM’s new projects, engagement strategies, and outreach to local artists. Arts Around the Fire is an opportunity for artists, writers, performers, and audiences to engage with colleagues about events affecting the cultural community and to learn about new ideas and artistic endeavors.

The event features a cash bar, light refreshments, and an informal atmosphere where artists and art lovers can connect. Interested parties are invited to sign up for an artist membership or become a supporting member of the Alliance, a coalition of individuals and non-profits committed to advancing arts and culture in Newport County.
