The Aquidneck Island Police Parade will take place on Sunday, May 5, and as part of the event, Broadway will be closed between Admiral Kalbfus Road and Farewell Street in Middletown from 11:30 a.m. to about 2 p.m.
The parade begins at the Hampton Inn and ends at Newport City Hall. Police said drivers should plan for delays.
Detours will be in place.
