People’s Credit Union has donated $2,000 to Lucy’s Hearth, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting homeless families. The donation will help the organization continue its mission of providing holistic programs and services that aim to achieve self-sufficiency for families.

Courtney Hunter, People’s Credit Union’s Head of Community Development, presented the check to Ashley Salemi Tarvis, Director of Lucy’s Hearth.

“The team at Lucy’s Hearth has a passion for helping homeless children and their families that is truly commendable,” said Ms. Hunter. “We are proud to play a small role in the inspiring work they do to help residents gain the life skills necessary to overcome the challenges of dealing with housing insecurity.”
