Newport String Quartet at Ochre Court

The Newport String Project will perform at Salve Regina University as part of its first series of events under a National Endowment for the Arts Challenge America grant.

The concert, which is free and open to the public, will feature the Newport String Quartet with guest musicians Elise Kuder on violin and Philip Solomonick on piano. The program will include Ernst Chausson’s rarely performed Concerto for Piano, Violin, and String Quartet.

The Newport String Quartet consists of Ealaín McMullin and Kenneth Trotter on violin, Santiago Vazquez-Loredo on viola, and Jacob MacKay on cello. The guest artists are Elise Kuder on violin and Philip Solomonick on piano.
