A weekend of celebrations is coming to Newport for the LGBTQ+ community with the annual Newport Pride weekend. The weekend will be filled with various events, activities, and culminating in the annual Newport Pride Festival on June 29.
The festivities begin on Friday, June 28 with a Pride Cruise on board Coastal Queen. Details are pending.
On Saturday, June 29, the annual Newport Pride Festival will be held at the Great Friends Meeting House. The event will include live music, art displays, food and drinks, and various activities.
On Saturday, June 29, Newport Pride celebrates with a Bike Parade. The 2-mile bike parade around Newport, which starts and ends at the Great Friends Meeting House, is scheduled to take place at noon.
On Saturday, June 29, Newport Pride also offers a Bike Afterdark experience. Details are pending.
On Sunday, June 30, the city will host a Beach Day event.
