The considerable makeover, which will include a reimaged interior design replete with new bathrooms, furnishings, carpet, and wall coverings, will mark Phase One of a comprehensive multi-phase vision set to position Newport Beach Hotel & Suites as the premier choice for travelers seeking a sophisticated stay that balances modern demands and historic New England seaside charm.
The hotel, managed by the Procaccianti Companies’ hospitality management affiliate, TPG Hotels & Resorts, and is part of the Intera Collection which is TPG’s upscale boutique, independent hotel management platform. The reimagined refurbishment is spearheaded by ABI Interior Design, headquartered in Warwick, Rhode Island.

Built in 1940, the historic gambrel-style landmark building includes 45 guest rooms, all anchored by breathtaking water views from every angle. Phase One of the enhancement project is expected to be completed by the end of March. Newport Beach Hotel & Suites will remain operational during this period with minimal disruptions to guests located in the hotel’s all-suites property.
