The Martha’s Vineyard community is invited to attend the fourth annual MVYRADIO Night Out For Nonprofits on Saturday, March 16, at the PA Club in Oak Bluffs.

This event, presented by MVYRADIO, will showcase local nonprofits and their work to support the community.

The night’s event begins at 7 pm and will feature live music, a pre-event cocktail hour for representatives from dozens of Island nonprofits, and an information session about each nonprofit organization.

Laurel Redington, of MVYRADIO’s Community Outreach department, said, “MVYRADIO wants to hold a key role as a nonprofit on Martha’s Vineyard. We’re able to use our platform to bring people together and amplify the messages of the nonprofit community.”

A suggested donation of $20 will be collected at the door, which will be given to the MV Nonprofit Collaborative to fund educational programs that benefit the Island’s nonprofits.

“Our role at MVNC is to bring together the many nonprofit organizations on Martha’s Vineyard and help provide needed support and education,” said Jackie Friedman, Executive Director for MV Nonprofit Collaborative. “Funds raised through this event will allow us to bring training on subjects like governance, board development, and fundraising to the leaders of local nonprofits.”
