The Town of Middletown has announced that the Middletown Planning Board will host a public workshop meeting on Wednesday, January 22nd, at 6 pm in the Town Council Chambers to review and accept public comment on the latest draft documents for the proposed Atlantic Beach Overlay Zoning District.

Draft documents and other updates can be viewed at: https://planning.middletownri.com/publicnotice/

Back in 2019, the Middletown Town Council requested that the Planning Board draft a zoning overlay district to cover the Atlantic Beach District area of Middletown. Over the past several months two subcommittees of the Planning Board have worked to develop proposed regulations to address the uses that would be allowed in the district, and the design of buildings, landscaping and signs.
