WhatsUpNewp partners with William Raveis Real Estate to bring you a bi-weekly column focused on the local housing market on Aquidneck Island

Starting next week, long time WhatsUpNewp contributor and local real estate professional Tyler Bernadyn will launch a bi-weekly column focusing on the real estate market here on Aquidneck Island.  Tyler hopes that the column will help readers get a better understanding of the local housing market here in Rhode Island and will focus specifically on Newport County.

The column will incorporate a wide range of content including interviews with other local professionals, open house features, real estate news, local housing data, market trends and many more.

“One of the most polarizing discussions you can have right now is about the real estate market, specifically what’s going on here in Newport and on Aquidneck Island,” Bernadyn says.  “I want this platform to serve as a tool to help better inform the community about what’s going on in the local market, answer questions that people may have and introduce new resources that people can use if they are looking to buy, sell or rent real estate.”

Tyler works as an agent with William Raveis Chapman Enstone, a locally owned affiliate of William Raveis Real Estate located at 268 Bellevue Avenue in the Bellevue Shopping plaza.  William Raveis has a network of 130+ company owned and affiliate offices stemming from Maine to Florida with over 4,200 sales associates and ranks in size as the number one family-owned real estate company in the Northeast and the ninth largest real estate company in the country, according to REAL Trends.

“Working with friends and new clients has been the highlight of this fiscal year”, says Bernadyn, who recently helped one of his best friends purchase his dream house.  “This year, I’ve worked with great clients who became friends and some great friends who became clients. It’s important to me that people know there is a personal investment from me included in the buying or selling process and that they know I’m committed to their best interest.”

Stay tuned for Tyler’s new column, published every other Thursday right here on WhatsUpNewp.
