Those looking for a more intimate, personalized, and one-on-one place to work out and get fit will soon have a new place to drop anchor.
Anchor Fitness confirmed this week with What’sUpNewp that they will be soon be opening at 823 West Main Road in Middletown.
Anchor Fitness will offer private training, small group training, team training and classes like HIIT, kettle bells, strength and conditioning groups and fitness challenges.
Portsmouth-resident Kevin Davis is the owner of Anchor Fitness, he has been a trainer, strength and conditioning coach, performance enhancement specialist and fitness nutrition specialist certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine for 10 plus years.
“I focus on strength and conditioning, mobility, flexibility, injury prevention and weight management”, Davis told What’sUpNewp. “With numan, I was able to work with athletes at all levels and professional teams as well as individuals who are looking to improve their overall health and wellness”.
Davis believes anyone can benefit from getting strong and moving better and believes his style of coaching is what makes him and Anchor Fitness unique to the area.
“My training is movement based focusing on proper form and function. As a coach, I focus on every clients individual goals and needs through thoughtful and precise programming and the use of conventional and unconventional exercises”, Davis said. “I like to keep the ‘personal’ in personal training, no ‘cookie cutter’ programs. I believe health, wellness and fitness are multidimensional. It’s not only physical but metal and spiritual as well. I take a more holistic approach to training. I believe this plus our more individual based approach makes Anchor Fitness unique”.
The grand opening for Anchor Fitness is planned for September 28, 2019.
Davis is currently taking private training clients, classes and appointments for Anchor Fitness can already be booked on Mind Body.
