If you’re looking to add some plants or flowers to your garden or home this spring, you’re in luck as two organizations are planning to host their annual plant sales over the next few weekends.

Newport In Bloom Spring Plant Sale

The 2019 Newport in Bloom plant sale will take place on Sunday, May 19.  The plant sale will take place at the Elks Club at the corner of Bellevue and 141 Pelham Ave.  The hours of the sale are from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The sale is rain or shine/inside or outside.

Locally grown herbs, annuals, perennials and hanging baskets will be available. All proceeds sustain our Newport beautification programs.

Point Association Plant Sale

The Point Association has announced that they will host their Annual Plant Sale will take place on May 25th at St. John’s Church.

Once again this year they will be selling annuals, perennials, herbs and garden items at great prices. Handmade items from Point artists/craftspeople will also be available for purchase.

The 2019 Point Association Plant Sale will be held in the parking lot of St. John’s Church, which is located at 61 Poplar Street, from 8 am to 12 pm.
