Boat fire off of Jamestown on Saturday morning

What’sUpNewp readers quickly reached out to us around 10:30 am on Saturday morning with images of black smoke coming from the are of Jamestown and North Kingstown.

Ian M. submitted this photo of a boat on fire off the coast of Jamestown. The boat which was tied to a mooring is reportedly thirty six feet in length.

According to reports there were no injuries and the fire is currently under investigation.
