Stoneacre Brasserie has confirmed with What’sUpNewp that they have sold Stoneacre Tapas at 515 Thames Street and will not be opening for the summer season.

Owners Christopher Bender and David Crowell are excited for the continued growth of Stoneacre Brasserie in Washington Square, and “are committed to the revitalization of this historic part of our city”.

“In selling the Tapas location, we’re able to be more fully engaged in our day-to-day responsibilities here at the Brasserie–and are excited for the long-term future of our success as both a restaurant and as members of the community,” Bender and Crowell said in a prepared statement.

The terms of the sale and the new owner were not disclosed.
