It’s beginning to look a whole lot more like the off-season around Newport, RI. Many restaurants have already permanently/temporarily closed or are preparing to do so over the next few weeks.

Temporarily Closing

  1. @ The Deck: Closed until March.
  2. Benjamin’s: Closed until January 26th
  3. Black Pearl: Closing January 3rd, reopening in March.
  4. Cafe Zelda: Closed.
  5. Caleb & Broad: Closed January 21st, should reopen by February 1st.
  6. Castle Hill Inn: Closed until noon on January 25th.
  7. Dockside: Closed until spring.
  8. Fatulli’s Downtown Cafe: Closed for season
  9. Flo’s (Middletown & Portsmouth): Closed until spring.
  10. Gary’s Handy Lunch: Closed January 8th – 15th
  11. Gulf Stream Bar & Grille: Closed January 2 – 30
  12. Harry’s Bar & Burger: Closed for winter.
  13. Humming Bird: Closed December 22 – January 4th
  14. Jade Cricket: Closed until spring.
  15. Jimmy’s Saloon: Permanently closed.
  16. Larussos Restaurant  – Temporarily closed.
  17. Lobster Bar: Closed until spring.
  18. Marina Cafe & Pub: Closed until spring.
  19. Mooring: Closed January 14 – 18th, reopen on January 19th
  20. Red Parrot: Red Parrot open till 1/22. Reopen 1/31
  21. Rosemary & Thyme: Closed until spring
  22. Salvation Cafe: Closed January 27th – February 13th
  23. Simpatico: Closed until March 20th
  24. Smoke House: Closed until spring.
  25. Stoneacre Tapas: Closed December 30th until spring.
  26. Thames Street Kitchen (TSK): Closing January 1st for a few weeks.
  27. The Boat Yard: Closed.
  28. The Chanler at Cliff Walk: The Chanler, Cara & The Café will be closed starting January 1st and will reopen on Friday, February 1, 2019
  29. The Landing: Closed until spring.
  30. The Pier: Closed until spring
  31. The Port: Closed until spring.
  32. Wholesome Fresh: Permanently closed

You can also count on the Lawn at Castle Hill, all patio’s (Black Pearl, 22 Portside, Pineapples) and roof decks’ (Hotel Viking & Vanderbilt Grace) being closed until spring 2019.
