The Beacon for the Brave Resource Center is set to open inside The United Baptist Church located at 30 Spring St, Newport, RI this Saturday, January 26th, 2019.

This resource center will provide information for local resources as well as household items the family may need to get through this tough financial time due to the ongoing government shutdown.

This center will be open every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and Saturday from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm for all furloughed Federal workers including Active Duty Coast Guard, Retired Coast Guard, and any other furloughed Federal workers as well as their families.

The mission of the Beacon for the Brave Resource Center is to serve as many families as we can during these uncertain times.
