There will be an Aquidneck Island Community Potluck tomorrow night.

“Our community is in crisis – 7,100 Aquidneck Islanders are without heat and hot water during the coldest days we’ve had yet (with the exception of today),” the website for the event states. “This is a call to action for our neighbors with heat and working kitchens to turn out to support our community. Make your favorite dish, donate your extra hotel toiletries, baby food, snacks, your time and genial cheer join us in Guild Hall at St. John’s Church on the Point”.

“We’ll also be collecting goods (see below for list of needed items) for our neighbors to take with them when they leave the potluck”.

“Any leftover items will be donated to the local food pantries to help our neighbors in need”.
