Newport, RI – Begin December and the season of Advent in beauty with the Seele Musicale Chamber Ensemble at Emmanuel Church on Sunday, December 2nd.
The Seele Musicale Chamber Ensemble will feature Alesia Tringale, Soprano; Jagan Nath Khalsa and Kerry Muenchow, Violins; Michaela Louise Hunter, Viola and Jerry Bellows and Madeline Browning, recorder performing J.S. Bach, “Air in D from Orchestra Suite No. 3”; Arcangelo Corelli, “Pastorale” from Concerto Grosso Op 6 No. 8; J.S. Bach, “Sheep May Safely Graze;” “What Child is This?” and postlude “Chaconne in G Minor” by Henry Purcell.
The musicians will sing and play during the 10 am worship service. The service also includes hymn singing and organ accompaninment by Emamnuel’s organist/ choirmaster Waylon Whitley.
This is a free event and free parking is available in the parking lot across from the church.
Emmanuel Church is located at 42 Dearborn Street in Newport.
