Second Beach in Middletown

Robert Sylvia and Theresa Santos from the Middletown Town Council joined Frank Prosnitz and me on What’sUpNewp Radio today to chat about Middletown’s 275th Anniversary celebration.

Events will take place at Paradise Park from 11 AM to 5 PM & Second Beach from 6 PM to 10 PM including the running of Boyd’s wind grist mill, the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, the First Rhode Island Light Artillery, and The Newport Artillery Company, view the Middletown Compact, artisans, live music & food trucks at both locations, the Middletown Prevention Coalition will coordinating games and activities for kids at the beach (rock climbing wall, football toss, old fashion games, sandcastle competition, face painting & marshmallow fire pit) at the beach, bonfires on the beach and the evening is capped off with a 25 minute fireworks spectacular!
