Paul Anka Saturday at Twin River
Legendary crooner Paul Anka returns to the Twin River Events Center Friday with a collection of hits dating back to the late 1950’s. He’s best known for tunes like “Puppy Love” and “Put Your Head on My Shoulder.” Those who grew up in the 70’s may recall the deliciously creepy “You’re Having My Baby,” his #1 hit that was actually voted the #1 Worst Song on All Time” in a CNN poll. As such, the song became fodder for shows like “Family Guy” and “Big Bang Theory,” which of course makes it one of the coolest #1 hits ever, in a helter-skelter kind of way. Tickets still available – details here.
