A North Kingstown man claimed a $50,000 winning Powerball® ticket from the October 11th draw, according to the Rhode Island Lottery.

His winning ticket matched four numbers and the Powerball® number to win $50,000. Had he purchased the PowerPlay® feature, his prize would have been multiplied by 2, the PowerPlay® number for that draw, to win $100,000.

He does not have any immediate plans for his winnings.

Sunny Hill Convenience Store, 1002 Main St., East Greenwich, sold the winning ticket.

Saturday’s estimated Powerball® jackpot is $50 million.
